Essay

The object is professional development of the future civil engineers. The purpose - to ground theoretically the pedagogic conditions of professional development of the future civil engineers in training and educating process at a higher educational institution. Theoretical results and novelty - new and traditional conceptual approaches to the understanding of the professional development's essence were revealed and characterised for the first time; the stages of professional development of the future civil engineers were revealed; the pedagogic conditions that cause effective influence on professional development of the future civil engineers have been defined and theoretically grounded; the criteria and indices have been revealed; the levels of professional development of the future civil engineers during training and educating process at a higher educational institution have been described. Practical results and research novelty are related to possibility of using its substantive theoretical materials in practical work of higher technical institutions of different types. Object and degree of introduction - the special course "Principles of professional development of the future civil engineers" is devoted. Efficiency of introduction is high. Branch is pedagogical, higher educational establishments.
