Severyn N. Ukrainophilia in the Russian Culture

The object of research is Ukrainophilia as a philosophical and cultural phenomenon. The aim is philosophical and cultural definition of "Ukrainophilia" phenomenon, its role and place in various directions of Russian culture: education, literature and art, philosophic thought. The methods - comparative and typological, comparative, systematic and method of cultural and historical analogies. The theoretical results of the thesis and its novelty. Interpretation field of "Ukrainophilia" phenomenon has been widened. The phenomenon has been conceptualized within the context of post-colonial researches, systematized and periodized. Systematic and comprehensive nature of "Ukrainophilia" concept has been proved. Ukrainian culture influenced basic spheres of life in Russia, mainly in humanities. The practical significance of the thesis lies in using its results in working out educational strategies, in the projects of cultural actions and publishing elaborations. The theoretical and methodological theses can be used in the further researches within philosophy and Ukrainian study, in academic process in teaching the appropriate courses, and also such disciplines, as theory of culture and culture sciences.
