The dissertation is devoted actual problems of psychodiagnostics of professional suitability of cadets to training and the further service in operative divisions of militia; to the maintenance, methods and ways of diagnostics of their individually-typological properties as bases of formation of professionally important qualities. The model of individually-typological properties of the cadet on the basis of multilevel understanding of the person from positions of the theory of leading tendencies and the account of objective conditions of professional work is developed; criteria, diagnostic model, algorithm of an estimation and forecasting of professional suitability and psychological readiness of cadets of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for vocational training and the further work in оперативних militia divisions.
