Ovcharuk M. Severe asthma exacerbations: clinical and pharmacoeconomical analyses

Object of research - Bronchial Asthma (BA). The purpose - determination of particularities of contingent patients with severe asthma exacerbations, main medicals and social factors of exacerbations, farmacoeconomical analyse costs, optimization of treatment these patients. Methods - clinical, instrumental (spirometric), statistical analysis. The results - positive dynamics of decrease of calls and urgent administration to the hospital connected with severe asthma exacerbations during the last decade was determined in the study, sex and age particularities of patients using urgent aid, their incomes and educational level were found, medicines, that their use. Clinical and economical effectiveness of basic therapy in patients with uncontrolled asthma was proved. Pharmacoeconomical analyses showed - sum, that gave state on free prescriptions are decreased during last years, expenses on the ambulance was increased for this patients.
