Essay

The investigation object: ganglia and branches of the human sympathetic trunk. The investigation goal: studying of individual anatomical variability of the human sympathetic trunk and its branches. Methods of research: complex of morphological researches (somatometry, morphometry, macromicroscopy, histological methods, mathematics). Theoretical and practical value of the obtained results: studying of individual anatomical variability of the human sympathetic trunk and its branches will help to improve surgical methods of treatment of Raynaud’s phenomenon. Scientific novelty of the obtained results: This investigation is devoted to study of individual anatomical variability morphology of human sympathetic trunk and its branches depending on the sceletotopy, somatotype, connecting with sex, age and structural branches organization. At first, it is established that the sympathetic trunk morphology is characterized by the wide range of individual anatomic variability depending on the sizes, form of ganglia and branches, connecting with sceletotopy and somatotype. The degree of implementation: the investigation results were approved in study process of morphological cathedras of Ukrainian universities and practical work of surgery departments.
