Essay

The thesis analyses language means and rhetorical methods which realize the strategy of dialogization of a contemporary publicistic monologue. The methods of research of text material offered in the thesis allowed us to reveal the criteria for typological systematic description and analysis of means and methods providing interactivity as the basic textual category of CPM. Dialogization is understood as: 1) relations with an addressee explicated into different level language units and special rhetorical methods of influence and persuasion; 2) introduction of another person into the monologue narration in different forms - of words and expressions from the other's thesaurus (so called "words of others") or as an idea, thought, position, transmitted from the other's name. The units of dialogue form (dialogemas) are formally meaningful structures of different language nature, but united by the direction toward the activization of contact with an addressee. The singled out language means and structures may be qualified as invariant indications of a contemporary publicistic monologue.
