Dissertation is devoted to research the Variability and transformation of genres in the genre group of information-publicistic genres. A new tendency of development of separate kinds of genres was analyzed: from an information note traditional once up to that new phenomenon concerning as the reporting of investigation with elements of analytics (investigative journalism). The attention paid to issues of creative interaction between individual journalists and media groups, strinheramy doing investigative journalism itself, using the original methods as a selection of factual information, and following the implementation of creative ideas in the format of a newspaper publishing genre
