Civilian casualties of Eastern Galychyna and Western Volyn have been estimated; oppressive measures of Russian and Austrian authorities against civilian population of this area have been analyzed; the causes, numbers and conditions of refugees from Galychyna and Volyn during the years of war have been revealed.
