Ignatusha A. Protestant periodicals of Ukraine as a social-political event in the twenties of the 20-th century

The object of research is the Protestant churches in Ukraine and their periodicals - "The Baptist of Ukraine", "The Evangelist" (Kharkov), "The Evangelist" (Odessa), "The Blagovestnik" in a context of political changes of 20th ХХ century. The aim of research: definition of the regularities and specificity of development of the Protestant periodical press in Ukraine in 20th ХХ century depending on social and political events. The subjec of research: the Protestant periodical press of Ukraine in the 20th ХХ century as the social and political phenomenon which had its reasons, character, the specificity of development, the forming and regulating role, dependence on other spheres of life, the circumstances of the termination of its activity. The methods of research: historiko-genetic, historiko-typological, historiko-comparative, problem-chronological, hermeneutic. The results of research and novelty: the description of the patterns of the historical development of the Protestant periodical press of Ukraine of 20th ХХ is characterised century in the context of political events. Established the defining role and the state-political factors on the forming and the termination of activity of the Protestant periodical press. Is found out the response of the Protestant periodical press to key political changes. The sphere of usage: the further research of the current subject, writing of the synthesis works, manuals, reading of the high school courses on the history of Ukraine and the religious studies, in the social activities this research is directed on the harmonization of social-church relations.
