Essay

The subject of research is theoretical and methodological grounds of modernization of historical education based on intersubjectivi approach. According to it the histories represented as the dynamic and open process, as "polyphony" of unique, self-valuable, cultural world and life practices. The theoretical reconstruction of national historical education as a complex of onthological, gnoseological, axiological and praxeological planes has been realized on the base of the qualitative research methods. The conceptual model of contemporary historical education worked out by explication of the concept of intersubjectivity. This model is based on humanistic ideals, world outlook pluralism, dialogue interaction, that corresponds to demands of the society and modern civilization. The obtained results of the given research essentially transform the ideas about the nature of historical knowledge that are established in philosophical and educational thought during the previous decade. The main ideas of the thesis orient and determine the search of the ways towards mutual understanding and harmonization of the society thanks historical education.
