Specific of Kazimierz Wierzynski' poetic evolution was research in this dissertation, its style and ideological dominants was also found out. Kazimierz Wierzynski' creation evolved from emotional poetry to social and political motifs. His emotional poetry partial broke with literary tradition. It characterized by combination of lyric poetry with the elements of humor and prevalence of the Dionysiac motifs. The katastrophism was the main trend of the next period of Kazimierz Wierzynski' poetic evolution. Eventually, through a rhetoric and fervor of military lyric poetry, his creation evolved to pessimistic picture of the world. It was the emigrant part of Wierzynski's life. Historical, social and cultural contexts of epoch and their influence on personality of artist founds out in the dissertation.
