Sen’kivs’ka G. Development of Historic Regional Studies in Ternopil Region (middle of the 1940s of the 20 – beginning of the 21st century)

Object of research - historical-and-regional studies movement in Ternopil region in middle of the 1940s of the 20th – beginning of the 21st century. The purpose of research – consists in reconstruction and objective analysis of features of development of regional studies movement in Ternopil region during middle of the 1940s of the 20th – beginning of the 21st century. Methods: historiographical and sources analysis and synthesis, problem-chronological, comparative-historical, descriptive, structural-system, retrospective, methods of formal logic. Scientific novelty: the dissertation is the first attempt of realization of the complex analysis of historical-and-regional studies movement in Ternopil region in middle of the 1940s of the 20th – beginning of the 21st century. The practical value of the dissertation consists in an opportunity of use of results of work at a spelling of special and generalizing works on Ternopil region history, at teaching of regional studies courses, realization of the state programs on protection of monuments, creation of regional studies expositions. Sphere of use: higher educational institutions, schools, museums, libraries, archives.
