Object - the process of professional and pedagogical training of prospective teachers; the aim - to work out and scientifically substantiate the technology of forming prospective teachers' creative skills in intellectual playing activity and to experimentally check its efficiency; methods - theoretical, empirical, methods of mathematical statistics; novelty - the technology of forming prospective teachers' creative skills in intellectual playing activity has been worked out and theoretically justified, the notion "creative skills of personality" has been defined and specified, the ideas for the use and specific features of playing activities, intellectual games in particular, in the process of forming prospective teachers' creative skills have received further development; results - the developed technology of forming prospective teachers' creative skills in intellectual playing activity has been implemented in the teaching process, the special course programme "Game of draughts" as one of the elements of methodology of forming students' creative skills in intellectual playing activity has been worked out; field - pedagogy
