Objekt: military organization, armament, fortification and art of war Galychina and Volhynia principalities in XI-XIV of item. Methods: analytical, comparative, concretely historical and problem chronologic. Results: it is well-proven that participating of great masses of petty bourgeois and peasants in the soldiery formings of princes and boyars was soil of military power of the Galychina and Volhynia armies; the international aspects of introduction of new types of armament are reflected in to Galychina-Volhynia armies; military tactic and strategy is reproduced Galychina-Volhynia war-lords; the military matter of Galychina and Volhynia principalities was formed on the basis of local military tradition. Use: theory and practice.
