The dissertation research deals with the analysis of the problem of professional formation of the social-professional activity of students in scientific literature and organized educational practice: the meaning of the term "social-professional activity of a teacher-to-be" is revealed, the criteria of social-professional activity formation of a teacher-to-be is proposed and grounded; the levels of social-professional activity development of the teacher-to-be personality are highlighted. The organizational-pedagogical conditions have been defined in this work. According to these conditions the effectiveness of the formation process of social-professional activity of the teacher-to-be at the educational environment of the pedagogical university rises: active participation in the higher education institution functioning that presupposes the development of social-professional environment; formation of positive students' motivation to active participation in the development of their own social-professional communication; organization of educational activities directed at the formation and development of the psychological-pedagogical training of the teachers-to-be.
