A research object is appearance of the world of Ukrainians. Research purpose: to find out the ethnocultural features of appearance of the world of Ukrainians on the basis of analysis of verbal and unverbal signs specific for the Ukrainian culture values and senses are represented in which. Research methods method of theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific literature on issue of the world appearance, with the purpose of determination of going near his study; methods of scientific supervision, conversations, interview, analysis of works of the Ukrainian writers, Ukrainian saying and proverbs, psychosemantic methods, and also method of psychodiagnostic inspection, with the purpose of exposure in a civilized manner of specific features of appearance of the world of Ukrainians Novelty: social axioms as constituent of the world appearance are first examined; the crosscultural analysis of social axioms is carried out for determination of features of appearance of the world of Ukrainians by comparison to the representatives of other cultures; found out between generation and regional features of prevalence of such types of social axioms, as "social cynicism", "social flexibility", "reward of efforts", "control of fate" and "religiousness", among young people and senior generation, and also representatives of different regions of Ukraine; implicity is certain themes, relevant social axioms, are inherent appearance of the world of Ukrainians; developed and approved psychodiagnostic tool of study of appearance of the world of Ukrainians: questionnaire of the Ukrainian social axioms (WHISKER); specific factors, conditioned the features of the Ukrainian culture, are selected: "orientation on domestic relations"; "pasivism"; "mistrust"; "spirituality"; "paternalism-self-effectiveness". Practical meaningfulness of research: findings are utillized in to psycho-pedagogical workt, at conducted psychological advising and trainings of personality growth, social adaptation of emigrants and immigrants, for the prophylaxis of between ethnic conflicts, consulting services; utillized in Ukrainian VNZ in the process of reading of educational courses from ethnopsychology and psychology of business intercourse.
