Mukovoz V. Improvement of facilities of specific prophylaxis of dermatomycosis of horses

The dissertation is devoted to improvement facilities of specific prophylaxis of horses' dermatomycosis. An epizootic situation and etiological structure of horses' dermatomycosis was studied in Poltava and Rivne regions. The cultural and biological features of selected cultures of dermatophytes were determined. The elements of production technology of high-efficiency vaccine "Mikoekvivak" against horses' dermatomycosis were developed (TUU 24.4-31112822-003:2007, RP № 3061-04-0354-07 from December, 21, 2007, patent of Ukraine № 28145 from November, 26, 2007). Harmlessness, dynamics of immunity formation, duration and immunity tension, medical efficiency of the vaccines was studied. High efficiency of vaccine against horses' dermatomycosis by the method of sharp infection on vectorial animals, the amount of which demonstrates probability of received results, was proved.
