The investigation object: morphological features of the ovaries of women and their arterial vascular bed at stages of ontogeny and characteristics of the ovaries of rats after ovariotomy traditional scalpel and CO2 laser in the experiment. The investigation goal: identify characteristics of arterial blood supply of ovaries of women at the stages of ontogenesis and regeneration after ovariotomy traditional way and using CO2 laser. Methods of research: morphological (corrosive preparation to seek features of extra- and intraorganic ovarian arterial bed), morphometry, histological (coloring of hematoxylin - eosin, Sudan, Mallory, Brase, reaction to alkaline phosphatase and PAS-reaction), mathematical (statistical process analysis morphometry results). Theoretical and practical value of the obtained results: The results of research deepen and broaden the existing understanding arterial blood supply of ovaries in different age periods and explain the phenomenon of functional asymmetry of lateral ovary. It was shown the need for a CO2-laser in ovariotomy as more optimal than the use of the traditional scalpel. The obtained data can be used to develop various organ preservation surgeries on the ovaries. Further study of ovarian morphology opens new opportunities for stimulating regenerative processes of female genital and infertility treatment. The obtained data can be used in morphology, gynecology and experimental biology. The scientific novelty of the obtained results: for the first time on the basis of a comparative study of morphological features of ovaries of women at the stages of ontogenesis was found lateral asymmetry of their differentiation and arterial blood supply, which manifested a higher rate of differentiation of the right ovary in the prenatal period of ontogenesis and more developed extra- and intraorganic arterial vascular bed of the right ovary as prenatal, and in the postnatal period of ontogenesis. Lateral asymmetry of arterial blood can be regarded as a morphological substrate of increased functional activity of the right ovary. For the first time on the basis of a comparative study of morphological features of ovarian after ovariotomy with traditional scalpel and CO2-laser set higher regenerative capabilities of the right ovary than the left. Use of CO2-laser speeded up the pace after the regeneration of ovarian ovariotomy at 9 days compared with traditional scalpels. The degree of implementation: the results of the research are implemented in the educational and scientific processes of morphological departments in higher educational institutions of Ukraine: Bukovinsk State Medical University (Chernivtsi), Vinnitsa National Medical Pirogov University, Zaporozhye State Medical University, Donetsk National Medical Maxim Gorky University, Crimea State Medical Georgievsky University (Simferopol), Lugansk State Medical University, State Higher School of Ukraine "Ukrainian Medical Dental Academy (Poltava), Medical Faculty of Uzhgorod National University.
