Essay

The policy of Russian government as to Greek-uniat church and Basilian rank on the Right-bank Ukraine at the end of the XVIII - 30s of the XIX century was analysed. It was also shown the structure of Lutsk uniat diocese in 1798-1828. The social origin of clergy, its educational level and material status was reflected. It was covered the cultural, educational and charitable activity of Greek-uniat church.
