Abdula A. Rationality as social and cultural phenomenon

The object is rationality as a complex phenomenon of social human existence. The goal of research is the systematical analysis of the phenomenon of rationality, its importance, status and functioning in the social and cultural context against a background of building-up of ideals and principles in a democratic society. Such methods of investigating as systematic, comparative-historical, general logical, analytical, dialectical are used. The problems of the criteria and the basis of rationality are examined at a deeper level. It also showed that the evolution and functioning of rationality are conditioned by interdependence of its "open" and "close" types that are realized in the dominating content components at different stages of its development. It also gives grounds for possibility of "transition" between different forms of rationality within the methodological frame of critical rationality. The notion of "social rationality" is defined as well as grounds of the essential principles of its functioning are formulated and given. The perspectives and peculiarities of realizing of principles of an open, rationally organized society at present stage of its development as well as obstacles on the way of its realizing are outlined. The field of an application is a teaching process.
