Essay

The theoretical generalizations and new decision of actual scientific problem are presented in the dissertation: the differential diagnostics and pharmacotherapy of dependence on methadone and on heroine. It is established, that intensity of pathological craving for opioids and general severity of psychopathological symptoms during detoxication in methadone-depended patients, is significantly higher, than in heroine-depended patients. It is revealed attributes of cognitive deficiency in methadone-depended patients which makes impossible the adequate estimation of qualities of life for them. The differential diagnostic tables were created which provide correct determination of methadone-depended state in 96,72 % of cases and heroine-depended state in 95,24 % of cases. It is shown, that, with other things being equal, significantly bigger (p<0,001) duration of hospitalization and bigger average course-dozes of medicines are necessary for detoxication of methadone-depended persons, in comparison with detoxication of heroine-depended persons. It predetermines the approximately 1,5 times higher price of treatment of methadone withdrawal syndrome in comparison with heroine withdrawal syndrome .
