Essay

The thesis is dedicated to studying of multiple-mode chronic hyperthermia effects on morphogenesis of skeletal bones. Up-to-date research methods used in the study (osteometry, histomorphometry, biochemical tests, X-ray scatter analysis, biomechanical testing and mathematics) allowed acquisition of new data on alterations of growth, structure, chemical contents, ultrastruc-ture and phase contents of bone mineral and strength features of bones in re-adaptation period. For the first time, we provide X-ray scatter data on ultra-structural alterations in bone mineral that result from multiple-mode hyperthermia. We also proved inosine to be useful correction agent for reversal of morphogenesis alterations caused by chronic hyperthermia.
