Object: professional pedagogical training of future primary school teachers; Aim: to ground theoretically, to check and to approve the project technology for forming the readiness to the professional self-development for future primary school teachers. Methods: analysis and generalization of the scientific information, theoretical modeling, systematic and structural analysis, projecting and modeling, diagnostic methods (questionnaire, testing, the expert estimation, analysis of the activity products), pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics; Novelty: the project technology of forming the readiness to the professional self-development of the future primary school teachers was elaborated and grounded for the first time, the levels of this technology are determined as motivational and conceptual, organizational and active, reflexive and generalizing; the estimation criteria and levels of readiness to professional self-development of the future primary school teachers were specified; the modes, forms and methods of the professional training for future primary school teachers; the further development is given to determining the content of the professional self-development for future teachers, scientific imaginary of project technology usage specialties in professional self-development for future primary school teachers; the results of the research can be applied to the process of professional training for future primary school teachers in higher educational institutions of various accreditation levels, for training teachers in other specialities, and also in the system of graduate education for pedagogical workers, in self-educational activities of future teachers; the field: theory and methods of professional education.
