Konup E. Forming of professionally meaningful qualities of future investigators in higher educational establishments of Ministy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

Professionally meaningful cognitive qualities of the staff of investigative forces are analysed in the dissertation. Certain prospects of practical use of achieved results - from psychological providing of cadets' studies in higher educational establishments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to practical activity of investigative forces - are outlined. The new data concerning the mechanisms of forming professionally meaningful cognitive qualities of an investigator are achieved on the basis of the psychological analysis of activity peculiarities. The basic tendencies of a would-be investigator's personality forming while professional training and typical characteristics of psychical cognitive processes -attention, memory, thinking and imagination in particular - are defined. All together they make a general type of professionally meaningful qualities that predetermines the psychological readiness for serving according to future profession. The peculiarities of using the author's training complex "Training of attention, memory, logical and operative thinking, intuition", which is introduced into the academic process of higher educational establishments of MIA, are described. It includes methods of diagnostics and development of professionally meaningful cognitive qualities, which determine both readiness for this activity and priority directions of organization of professional-psychological training, directed on its forming.
