Complex study of development public-political opinion on rural problem in Naddnipranska Ukraine in political period of the Ukrainian national renaissance (1890s - 1917 y.) is carried out on the wide resource basis for the first time in the Ukrainian historical science. Historical conditions of appearance and development of the rural views in the Ukrainian rural-political opinion of the end 19 - beg XX c. were cleared out. The evolution and development of the Ukrainian social parties' programmers as for the regulation of the rural relations at the beg. 20 c. is traced. Ideological foundation of the liberal-democratic current in the Ukrainian public-political movement before and during the years of the First Russian Revolution are characterized and the sense of the rural programmers of its representatives is revealed. Ukrainian nationalists' opinion of the rural problem during the researched period is studied and the main reasons defining a slight support of the peasants were cleared out. Different political parties' and unions' attitude towards the rural problem in the Naddnipranska Ukraine is revealed and the ways of there regulation in the mid-revolutionary period is elucidated. The role and the significance of particular public-political figures of different social-political trends, who were out of parties while solving the rural problem in the abovementioned period, is analyzed.
