Voloshina I. Relative age and individual features of the arrangement of meniscs and their ligaments of the knee joint.

The thesis is dedicated to studying of relative age and individual features of the ar-rangement of menisci and related ligaments in individuals of mature, elderly and senile age. Using of complex methods of the study (anatomical, morphologycal, histologycal, statistical) we received new data of structure of menisci, their shape variety, weight and fixation. We designed a new classification of menisci of the knee joint. It is found that morphological change of the structure of menisci depend on age of the person and on the individual anatomical particularities. Unlike the other works, we showed correlation de-pendency between some morphologycal factor of meniscs. The results of the study are in-troduced in to academic process of the departmens of human anatomy in high medical schools of Ukraine.
