Mushak I. Peculiarities of age-related evolution and prognosis of the course of bronchial asthma

Research object - bronchial asthma. Purpose - improvement of bronchial asthma control in patients of different age groups by means of analysis of age-related transformation of the disease and development of criteria for its prognosis and course. Research methods are clinical, instrumental, immunological, allergological, statistical. Results - It has been proved that the course of bronchial asthma in pediatric patients is to a great extent determined by the severity of the disease. It has been established that structure of sensibilazation has no significant impact on the course of the disease. It has been proved that in many patients with the remission of bronchial asthma, signs of bronchial hyperreactivity, determined the test of dosed physical exercise, persist despite the absence of clinical symptoms and adequate basic therapy of the disease. This confirms significance of this test for determination of the duration of basic treatment. There have been calculated possible risk factors which determine the prognosis of the disease and allow administer the individual complex of prophylaxis. Industry application - pulmonology.
