Essay

The research is devoted to the lighting up the history and evolution of Slobidska Ukraine military and administrative units - the regiments during the second half of the XVII-XVIIIth centuries. Socials - economic and political reasons of their military reorganization were first described in historiography as well as the principles of military usage in wars and military conflicts of that time, where Russia and Ukraine took part. The system and the basis of control, compliting and supply of military units are shown. Special attention is paid to the stuff preparation and cossacks personel education. The characteristic features for practical usage of Slobidski regiments are founded. Their qualitative and ethnic structure is shown.
