Essay

In the dissertation the complex analysis of tendencies of the higher agricultural education development in the II-nd half of the XX-th century is done. Preconditions, proggressive ideas and concepts which became the conceptual framework of the USA higher agricultural education are found. Main three periods of the development of the higher agricultural education system are separated. Main factors, problems and tendencies of the development of Americal agricultural colleges during the second half of the XX-th century are analysed. Perspectives of usage of American positive experience and ideas in Ukrainian system of agricultural spesialists training are defined.
