Kolyesnichenko V. The role of judicial authority in protection of electoral rights.

Profound importance of judicial bodies for maintenance and harmonization of electoral relations by solution of electoral disputes is considered in this thesis. Thus, individual and political rights of a citizen win additional protection. Basic phases of historical genesis for evolution of electoral rights1 defence by administrative justice means are given; tasks, solved in judicial procedure are researched, judiciary principles' specifics in Ukrainian legislation and European Court for Human Rights are analyzed. Comparative analysis of jurisdiction of courts, electoral commissions and other bodies is realized. On the grounds of judicial practice and scientific positions analysis there were carried out theoretic conclusions and recommendations for further perfection of Ukrainian legislation.
