Maletsky N. The foundation of composition, technology and investigations of vaginal drug dosages forms with polyhexamethylenguanidine phosphate

Dissertation concerns the development and investigation of compositions and production technology of vaginal drugs with polyhexamethylenguanidine phosphate for sexually transmitted diseases treatment. On basis of complex pharmacotechnological, biopharmaceutical, physicochemical, rheological research optimal compositions and production technology of vaginal gels and suppositories were investigated. It was established that glycerine-gelatinous based suppositories are best for extemporal production and PEG-based suppositories are best for industrial production. It was worked out drugs that characterized with, effectiveness, safety and stability of their properties during storage. Extemporal making technology of vaginal suppositories and gel with polyhexamethylenguanidine phosphate is offered as informative letters of Ukraine health Ministry.
