Essay

The dissertation presents a retrospective analysis of ecological education as well as the analysis of modern tendencies in teachers' training in British universities for ecological education of pupils; it also specifies the content of the basic notions for ecological education: ecology, ecological education, ecological upbringing, ecological culture. The paper introduces a British model of teachers-to-be training for ecological education of pupils, reveals the content, structure and particularities of methodical system of teachers-to-be training in British universities for ecological education of pupils.
