Essay

Based on the analysis of published documents and archive materials of belligerents, memoirs, research and special publications the thesis carried out comprehensive study of the Kerch-Feodosia and the Kerch-Eltigen amphibious operations as the most large-scale amphibious operations on the territory of Ukraine during the WWII conducted by the Red Army forces in 1941-1943. The paper focused on the comparison of preparation and conduct of the above-mentioned operations.
