Essay

The dissertation deals with the first politicization of the Ukrainian national revival in the middle of the 19th century. Main conditions are exposed which were on the Ukrainian lands and a politicization of national life was as a result of it. In addition under the power of the Russian empire ethnic territorial changes, socio-economic life and political regime are analysed. It is proved that formed situation led to a certain consolidation and unification of the Ukrainian people, that was a positive moment for the development of politicization in the middle of the 19th century.
