The dissertation is devoted to the problem of organizing creative activity of students in the process of learning the disciplines in nature and mathematics at higher technical educational institutions; the essence of the concepts "creativity", "creative activity", "organizing creative activity of students at higher technical educational institutions" are revealed; the criteria (generating, modulating, analytical, activating), indices and levels of succsess in students'creative activity at higher technical educational institutions (creative, productive, combinatory, reproductive) are difined; the model of creative activity organizing that includes three stages (cognitive and introductive, reproductive and corrigative, creative and active) has been worked out. The techniques aimed at the diagnosis of the degree of the students' creative activity succsess at higher technical educational institutions has been developed.
