Danysh L. Public-political, state and cultural activity of P.G.Tychyna (1891-1967)

Tychyna's life, public-political, state and cultural activity is reconstructed on the basis of complex analysis of literature and archival sources, published documents, memoirs and the writer's creative work. Tychyna's influence on the development of national liberation movement in Ukraine at the beginning of the 20 century is proved, his participation in legislative, state body of USSR is exposed, information about the influence of the honoured worker on becoming and education of young authors of Ukraine is revealed, the writer's creative heritage is analysed, Tychyna's place and role in the development of creative scientific international connections is exposed. Taking into account modern development of historical science the objective reinterpretation of Tychyna's contribution into the historical development of the Ukrainian state is carried out.
