The problems of adaptation of the future specialists of fire-rescue service to conditions of professional work during the period of training in profile higher educational establishment are observed in the thesis. As a result of the analysis of scientific sources the intension: "adaptation of the future specialists of fire-rescue service to conditions of professional work" is found out; conditions of professional work of specialists of fire-rescue service are observed, three periods differing on intensity of adaptive process are singled out; components of professional adaptation are marked out. The theoretical model of the specialist of fire-rescue service, in which the spheres of activity are differentiated, is developed and the complex of professional knowledge, skills and qualities of specialist personality united in groups is defined. Research has enabled to single out levels of professional adaptability of the future specialists: minimum admissible, average, high. The defined pedagogical principles of adaptation of the future specialists of fire-rescue service to conditions of professional work are maintenance of systemacy, personality-centered approach to the organization of pedagogical process and direction of pedagogical effect on comprehension of the purposes and problems of professional adaptation by the future specialists. Experimental verification of the defined pedagogical principles has proved efficiency of the plan of activity of the teaching staff of the profile higher educational establishment which defines the system of work on adaptation of the future specialists of fire-rescue service to conditions of professional work during the period of training in the profile higher educational establishment.
