Essay

Thesis is the first research of the political emigrants' from Upper Dnieper Ukraine activity in social and political movement in Galicia and Volyn from the point of view its ideological conditionality and organizational and structural subordination to the purpose - renewal of the independent Ukrainian state. The main programs of state building, which were created by the representatives of different camps of Ukrainian political emigration and based on the previous experience of state creation of the period of Ukrainian National Revolution are generalized. It is proved, that the organizations created by Ukrainians from Upper Dnieper region in Poland, including Galicia and Volyn, were interlinked between themselves and united for the sole purpose - saving of emigrants' organizational unity. The comparative analysis of participation of political emigration from Upper Dnieper region in social and political life of Galicia and Volyn is done and the regional features of their influence to forming of national identity of Ukrainians are exposed. A conclusion about influence of some emigrants from Upper Dnieper Ukraine for development of social and political life of Galicia and Volyn is complemented. It is found out, that activity of political emigrants from Upper Dnieper Ukraine in Galicia and Volyn menaced to bolshevist government USSR, especially taking into account the closeness of these territories to the soviet border and possibility of co-operation with the population of boundary regions that stipulated the active measures of bolshevists on neutralization of the political emigrants' activity. New sources, which considerably extended possibility of study of political emigrants' from Upper Dnieper Ukraine activity, their organizational forms and measures of bolshevists in neutralization of this activity, are entered to the scientific appeal.
