The Dissertation is devoted to the theoretical ground and practical development of the method of optimal design of Small Waterplаne Area Twin Hull Ships (SWATH). The model of engineerings qualities of ship, which contains the methods of calculation of main dimensions,weights, powering, seakeeping and comfort was created. The operation model of passenger ship, which enables to simulation the potential shape of a service deploying of scheduled transportations adequately and also takes into account weather conditions of exploitation was developed. For the search of optimum particulars genetic algorithm was used. The complex of the application programs, realizing the developed methods of the optimal design of SWATH ships was created.
