In the dissertation on the basis of application of the system approach and equations of existence the actual applied scientific task of improvement of designing of uninhabited towed underwater systems of civil and dual purpose for operative inspection of shallow protected water areas is solved. Based on the analysis of existing methods of designing marine equipment, the genesis of technologies for designing uninhabited towed underwater systems has been developed and the involvement of the latest technologies of information support of design and production works has been substantiated. A set of matrices of technical task constraints on structural, energy, information and operational characteristics of components of uninhabited towed underwater system and a set of matrices of these characteristics for the current stage of their design are constructed. requirements of the technical task. According to the obtained research results, the method of designing uninhabited towed underwater systems based on the use of a systems approach and equations of existence has been improved, which allows to assess the degree of fulfillment of technical task requirements at early stages of design.
