Essay

The main purpose of the dissertation research is to obtain new data, patterns, calculation schemes for improving the design and technology of building the reinforced concrete pontoons of composite floating docks to reduce material consumption, building complexity of their construction and cost. The dissertation substantiates the improvement of the design and technology of a reinforced concrete pontoon with a simplified set of floating composite docks by increasing the size of spaces. The stress-strain state of the berth-deck and the bottom slabs of the reinforced concrete pontoon of the floating composite dock with a complete set for the cases of complete immersion in to still water without taking into account possible dynamic loads is determined. The distribution of compressed and stretched zones of a reinforced concrete slab of a floating composite dock pontoon with a simplified set at different values of thickness and side length ratios on the basis of numerical modeling is investigated. The designing and technological solution for improving the design of reinforced concrete pontoon with the simplified set of floating composite docks on the basis of the requirements shown to the dock case and its separate designs are offered. The design of a building berth for construction of a reinforced concrete pontoon with a simplified set and the technology of building of floating composite docks with a simplified set in a pontoon have been improved.
