Khriapin E. Foreign capitals and entrepreneurs in socioeconomic development of Donets – Kriviy Rig basin (1861–1914)

Object of research - development of foreign stock corporation, trade houses, representations and participation of the foreign entrepreneurs in industry of Donets - Kriviy Rig basin in the second half of the 19-th century and the beginning of the 20-th century. The purpose of research: research of volumes and features of receipt of the foreign capitals in an industry of Donets - Kriviy Rig basin, scales of participation of the foreign citizens in a management of the enterprises of different types and areas of production in the second half of the 19-th century and the beginning of the 20-th century. Methods: analytical, synthetic, logic, historical-genetic, typological, synchronous, problem-chronological, diaсhronous, structural-system, statistical. Scientific novelty: in the dissertation on the basis of a wide circle of sources for the first time the data about attraction of the foreign capitals and activity of the foreign entrepreneurs in a heavy industry of Donets - Kriviy Rig basin are systematized and generalized. The practical value of the dissertation is determined by an opportunity of its use for the further research of a history of development of Ukraine industry, role and importance of the foreign investments and entrepreneurs in socio-economic processes; by preparation of the manuals, educational courses, programs on a social and economic history of Ukraine, urbanization, study of region, study of local lore, and also encyclopedias, directories on a history of business.
