The thesis deals with communicative and pragmatic specificities of the communicative strategies realized under the circumstances of speech communication. The thesis is carried out in the context of communication theory and pragmatic philology and directed to comprehensive analysis of the communicative strategy of encouragement in the Russian Language intercourse. Specific feature of the thesis is a systematic treatment of the communicative strategy of encouragement, selection, description and classification of its constituents in accordance with pragmalinguistic analysis. As a result, the following concepts were described and specified: "communicative strategy", "speech tactics" (including the concept of communicative tactics), "communicative motion". We differentiated the range of speech and communicative tactics of encouragement by means of linguistic description of their verbal markers. Our classification of speech tactics is based on the functional state factor and includes rational and emotional impact with the description of lexical, lexico-semantic syntactic and pragmatic linguistic means of their functioning. We proved the influence of external and internal plans of communicative strategy which form the semantic area of the strategy chosen by the speaker. One of the most important results of our research is the description of interactional model of the communicative strategy of encouragement with the detailed analysis of each phase of its functioning. The research represents basic linguistic and extra linguistic characteristics of the communicative strategy of encouragement which can be of two types, that of actualizing and of influential nature.
