Essay

The dissertation deals with the complex description of the language means of the religious concepts expression and their semantic filling in the Russian naive and individual worldviews based on the Russian proverbs and the poetry of A. Blok. The study of the religious concepts is carried out within the framework of the linguo-cultural approach that presupposes identification of values and attitudes of the nation in semantics of the concept. The system nature of the religious sphere of concepts is shown; the key concepts (the God, the Soul, the Belief, the Church, the Priest, the Sin, the Devil) and the peripheral ones (the Hell, the Angel, the Prayer, the Heaven, the Saint, the Salvation) are picked out. The semantic ties between them are analyzed. Grammatical and semantic analysis of the key religious concepts of the Russian naive worldview is carried out; the language means of their representation are described; their cultural connotations, values and evaluative categories of the Russian linguistics and culture expressed by these concepts, are studied. The comparative analysis of the religious sphere of concepts in the naive worldview and the corresponding fragment of individual worldview of the A. Blok poetry is carried out. As a result the steadiest semantic features of these concepts in the Russian worldview are defined.
