Essay

In the dissertation on the basis of the wide range of sources and literature the history of formation and development of the railway and sea transport of the South of Ukraine in second half of the ХІХ - in the beginning of the XX century is investigated. Factors are defined, the projects of railway building are analyzed, the dynamic of creation of the railway system in region. Are shown the tendencies of the development of the sea transport of the region beforehand the qualitative changes that were as a result of the technical turnover during 30 - 80-th years of the XX century; also were determinate the factors that greatly decreased the efficacy of its activity.
