Essay

The dissertation includes complex research of urbanization in the Ukrainian SSR during 1945 - 1970. Basing on system analysis of source base and scientific literature ascertain state policy among city development in republic, official management of inhabitants' movement and location. Besides, a lot of scientific aims were determined, among them: analysis of regional peculiarities of urbanization; followed an influence of urban processes upon dwellers of Ukrainian cities and villages: dynamics of demographic, social and economic, cultural and spiritual development researched. Migratory component of urbanization searched separately. Special attention for consequences and results of its phenomena during 1945 - 1970 was spared.
