Tevikova O. Everyday life of USSR citizens: social and cultural aspects (1953-1964).

The dissertation which is based on the achievements of historiography, analysis of historical variable sources (both traditional and alternative), the appropriate use of conceptual-categorical and methodological apparatus comprehensively studied the everyday lives of USSR citizens in 1953-1964. The problem analysis is given in three sections. First, it highlights the level of material-household culture of the population, which forms the "matrix" of everyday life. Secondly, it is analyzed the moral-valuable imperatives of the socium, namely the transformation of the society consciousness under the influence of destalinization processes and features of the citizens mentality in that time. Thirdly, it is disclosed the spiritual development of the population through studies of language, educational, and religious spheres of life, also a leisure.
