Essay

The object of the research - bronchial asthma in children. The aim of the research - increase efficacy of the bronchial asthma diagnostics (BA) at children using standardized epidemiologic, clinical and functional examination, establish economic damage connected with inopportune recognition of the disease. The methods of research - epidemiologic, clinical, functional, allergic, pharmacoeconomic, pharmacoepidemiologic and statistic. Results - the prevalence of undiagnosed bronchial asthma has been determined among 7-14 years old children from Vinnytsia. Clinical peculiarities of the undiagnosed asthma have been studied. Expediency of early recognition of the disease, timely, adequate treatment that decreases direct and indirect costs has been proved. Area of application - pulmonology, pediatrics.
