Nikolaychuk L. Scientific principles of assortment formation and properties estimation of linen fabrics with cottonin

The thesis deals with the development and optimization of cotton- cottonin fabrics assortment, estimation of the most important consumer properties of those fabrics and discovering the new ways of increasing their qualities. New assortment of cotton-cottonin fabrics which is based on the application of modern whitening and dyeing techniques is proposed. It was determined that according to their mechanical, physical and aesthetic properties as well as their wash resistance cotton-cottonin fabrics are not worse than analogous cotton and linen fabrics for underwear. Dependance of colour resistance of the cotton-cottonin and of standart fabrics on different physical and chemical actions (washing, drying, wet rubbing) upon the class and type of the applied dyes and methods dyeing was determined. Production test was made. Comparative characteristic of multiwashing resistance of cotton-cottonin, cotton and linen fabrics was given, as well as comparative characteristic of form changing of the fabrics under research after multiwashing. Mathemetical models which describe the dependance of wear resistance and form of the fabrics on the number of washing wear developed. Value of economic effectiveness of the introduction of cotton-cottonin fabrics, as an example being active red S-WAX can be estimatide as 85,2-89,6 hryvnias or 19603,8-20603,9 hr. per year (for every 1000 linear meters).
