The object is a selection and creation of plant-breeding feedstock of kidney bean ordinary with the bush form of plants, improving productive and high-quality description. Purpose – to learn the features of display of basic signs and properties of collection sortstandards kidney bean of ordinary in the conditions of north of Steppe Ukraine, select standards with the bush form of plants, to conduct hybridization of the best from them for creation of new varieties. Methods – the field, laboratory, mathematically statistical. Results: Features and conformities to the law of intercommunications of signs of the productivity, their changeability and character of inheritance are set will provide efficiency of selection of kidney bean ordinary of corn food direction of the use. The best lines (30 numbers) are selected plugged in a plant-breeding process on Krasnogradskiy to the experimental station, which will become a base at creation of new varieties of kidney bean, adjusted to the mechanized growing and harvesting. On state sorttest there is a new bush variety of kidney bean Surprise, suitable for direct сleaning up , with the productivity of 2,4 t/ha and maintenance of albumen 26 %. Тovelty – First in the conditions of north of Steppe of Ukraine the comparative estimation of 122 sortstandards kidney bean is conducted on duration of vegetation period, in high plants and by the type of bush, firmness to the basic diseases, level of the productivity and productivity, quality of products. Productive hybrid population which are appraised after general and specific petticoat ability of paternal forms is created; intercommunications are set, features of changeability and inheritance of basic signs of the productivity in natural and hybrid population of kidney bean; an individual selection is get productive lines (plant-breedings numbers) with the bush form of plants for a subsequent selection and practical use.
